Sleeping three guests over two bedrooms, this canal-side cottage is perfect for small families and a pair of pups. Climb three steps to make your way inside where you are greeted by the inviting lounge. This dual-aspect room is filled with natural light and has a TV/DVD for relaxing nights in. The light kitchen/diner has simple country style and all you need to cook dinner including a double oven and a fridge/freezer. Dine at the table before taking a drink outside onto the small patio with views over the canal. Upstairs, two light bedrooms await weary heads- the double is snug and has sloping ceilings which reduce headroom slightly, and the single has a TV. Start your day with a soak in the tub in the family bathroom before heading out to explore. There is roadside parking nearby. Enjoy your location in the peaceful village of Govilon which is just 3.5 miles from Abergavenny. With delicious restaurants and a great position close to the Skirrid, Blorenge and Sugar Loaf Mountains, Abergavenny is well worth a trip come day or night and is the place to go for a night off from the kitchen. Crickhowell is 6 miles away and from here you can ascend Table Mountain for wonderful views. Sitting on the edge of the Blaenafon World Heritage site, explore the Big Pit National Coal Museum (5 miles), Blaenafon Heritage Railway (5.5 miles) and Blaenafon Iron Works (4 miles).
