Very comfortable clean stay! Hosts were very attentive and responsive. We couldn’t have asked for better! Great property and wonderful accommodations. Can’t wait to get back. It felt like family and home.
Don and Lisa are amazing beautiful people! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back again. Molly and Mateo, their 4 legged family, are huge sweet loving dogs that love some pets. If you are there on a Thursday make sure to check out the local market- it’s super authentic and filled with goodies. The pool is a nice refreshing amenity for relaxing and cooling down. Lisa and Don will literally answer any questions and steer you in all the right directions around. See you next time!

Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the pristine cleanliness of the entire property. The attention to detail was evident in every corner. It is clear that Lisa and Donnie take great pride in maintaining a spotless environment for their guests. Lisa and Donnie are friendly, they went the extra mile by accommodating our very late check in, and always available to assist with any questions or concerns, they went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was nothing short of perfect. Their hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest, and I cannot thank them enough for their kindness and generosity. Overall, my experience at Bamboo Bungalow exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with impeccable cleanliness, fantastic amenities, and wonderful hosts, look no further.

Best bet is an inexpensive Taxi 7 minutes into town of Atenas or to Destinations. There is a bus that runs past our neighborhood access road; no “official” bus stop, but a “wave” to the bus labeled Atenas, and they’ll pull over to pick you up.
