Katherine’s place near Boca was exactly what we were hoping for! Very very comfortable and a great location. Katherine was a delightful host who went above and beyond to make sure our visit was special….book with confidence!

Villa Magica is better than the description and photos. The views are incredible in real life, you are so close to the ocean you feel like you are on a boat - including the sounds of waves and the smell of salt! (We saw whales and dolphins!!) Except unlike a boat you are in a huge comfy bed with Netflix and a full kitchen. It is a bargain for ocean front in Vallarta. And sooo much quieter than the other places we have stayed. We never wanted to leave! Some things to consider for others. It didn’t bother us, but there are plenty of stairs. The house is authentically Mexican and not modern - don’t expect a hotel. And they allow pets so don’t be surprised to meet the resident dogs (they are very cute). But that’s how we like to travel and we loved being in a real home. It is a very secure house with lots of keys. We liked that you can lock your doors and windows if you want and the safety bars do not block the views when they are open. We felt very safe. We will definitely go back!

Outstanding views. We saw whales from the terrace 2 of the 3 days we were there. Quaint, modest home sufficient for our family’s needs. Responsive host.

Dirty floors and patios, bed sheets and blankets were not clean. Dog feces on patio and bad smell of urine thru out the house. Owner came in without announcing herself not knowing we were inside, because I was busy and did not hear anyone knock so they let themselves in. This I felt extremely uncomfortable with. Did not make me feel safe to leave my valuables there while going out.
