When I checked on Airbnb, my group initially thought a villa was a single-home by the beach. We are pleasantly surprised that it was a part of a hotel/resort. Villa Buenavista is a beachfront resort with 2 pools. The villa we booked was not beachfront but within walking distance to the beach and pool. The villa was serene and easily accommodated 6 adults. It was gated and had a 24-hour security guard at the gate. The unit was clean and spacious. The area was quiet and serene which lends to a peaceful retreat. The internet signal was strong. It was our first visit to La Union. San Juan was a quaint town but boasted a beautiful beach, friendly locals, and great cuisine. I highly recommend Villa Buenavista if you're in search of a quiet place to get away.

convenient location, private place with huge rooms and living space area, very near the beach with fine sand that is ideal for swimming, no crowd, peaceful & relaxing

aside from the moldy smellnof the masters bathroom, everything about the place (from the ambience of the resort to the provisions inside the rented unit) was superb. complete appliances, there's free potable water, may oven pa. staff were nice and helpful. pool was surprisingly warm and beachfront ung place so you can walk to the beach if you dont like the pool

The place is peaceful, the staff is very accommodating and helpful. Kudos to the person in the information area, and guards in the main and bungalow area. We do not have electricity in our 2nd day of stay from 2pm-7pm, and was only assisted when i approached them at 7pm. There is no water drainage in the common bathroom (not in the shower area tho), this may cause accident to others. Gentle reminder to the owner. I would also like to recommend to have other choices of food (refreshing foods especially for kids). They don't serve dinner Sat, maybe because it Black Sat, Kudos to Alex, who is very responsive and i appreciate your assistance and for accommodating our requests. Overall, i will recommend the place, big for family, peaceful-if you just want to relax and stay away from the busiest crowd of ElYu . Unfortunately, we were not able to swim in the beach due to lots of jelly fish (dangerous). Again, thank you and will visit the place again.

We really loved the place and the neighbourhood. It's very close to the beach and Alex was very responsive and the staff within the area are very accommodating.
