The evening before we were due to arrive I realised that I had received no communication whatsoever from Agustina. After messaging him we finally received a link and photograph of the entrance gate. No mention of how to get inside the property and unfortunately the link took us to a different location. The property is down a very bumpy track so a good car is needed. When we arrived we were greeted by two very friendly dogs but if anyone is afraid of dogs or doesn't like them this isn't ideal. They were also left outside all night and barked several times, waking me up. They also caused a security light to repeatedly come on, which flooded the apartment with light. Agustina did take them into his house upon our request from then on though and that sorted the problem. I've never left a bad review before but this place needs some maintenance and the host needs to improve communication. The views are spectacular however and the bed was comfortable!

The view is priceless. The accommodations are great for two people. It is a quick drive to Cane Garden Bay or Brewers Bay. The roads are extremely and I mean extremely steep if you’re driving a rental car.

Eloy's place is perched high on a hill with spectacular views of Jost Van Dyke, Saint John, and Saint Thomas in the distance. The unit is a studio-type flat with everything you need to self cater. However, the pièce de résistance is the veranda with its cool breezes and amazing views. I arrived without a vehicle (it is possible) but after hoofing it down to Cane Garden for provisions, I opted to rent a car for the remaining five days that I was there. Great internet, ample bug spray, and a TV and a/c unit, if you need them. A highly enjoyable stay.
