Tranquil Retreat: Independent Ooty home with expansive private lawn and antique furnishing. This has been our family home for about 30 years. It was recently renovated to a high standard keeping much of the classic Ooty aesthetic but with more space and comfort. There is a full kitchen, a glasshouse and an expansive lawn for you to use. We have a very nice full time caretaker who can support you during your stay as well as a cleaner every morning who can help with laundry and daily cleaning.

Beautiful home. Super responsive and sensible host. Very helpful caretaker. Convenient location in Ooty. My parents and grandparents and our little 2 year old really enjoyed being there. Our 2 year old especially enjoyed one plaything that the hosts put in the house. One minor thing: The lane going there is a little narrow but there isn't much that can be done about it, I guess.
Every corner of the housestay exudes charm and elegance, from the quaint exterior with its blooming gardens to the meticulously designed interiors that evoke a sense of serenity. The attention to detail is evident in the tasteful décor, with each room thoughtfully curated to provide both comfort and style. there's a sense of peace and tranquility that envelops you. And of course, none of this would be possible without the incredible host who pours their heart and soul into ensuring every guest has a memorable experience.
We had a very nice stay inside the city and felt more secure, specially the house looks very nice and enough space.

Tightly packed houses, but we have a tranquil spot right in the middle providing a lot of privacy.
We have parking available for up to 2 cars, but the turn into the road is very sharp and steep so needs to be manoeuvred carefully.
We’re right inside the Ooty main town which can get very busy depending on the season but we’re on the edge closer to the Coonoor road so you can escape rather quickly if you want to.
