Cabin was so beautiful, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. It was sooo cozy with the fireplace lit. Nice views and very walkable. Owners were very friendly and made us feel at home.

This little cabin is a gem! We took walks, cooked meals, drove country roads in awe of the natural beauty of those gorgeous Va. mountains. We star gazed into some of the darkest skies where the stars were so numerous and bright with the best kind of surprise. I just can’t say enough good things. Take a book, a bottle of wine or just a good meal and drop your stress off somewhere down the road before you get there. George and Cathy are proof that good people can make the best of things, even better! Have the best time, we sure did.

Although we had originally decided on this cabin as just a "sleeping place" while we went snowboarding at Snowshoe, WV, The Hogshead Cabin definitely had us wishing we had more time to spend there. The cabin is such a cute, quaint place. It's very relaxing and cozy at all times of the day. We got lucky and got snow during our stay so the cabin looked straight out of a winter wonderland in a fairy tale book. We'll definitely have to book again and have a staycation to enjoy more of it. Having a grill, fire wood, kindling, and everything you could think of during a cabin stay was very convenient. The cabin itself was clean and decorated beautifully and just the wood work alone will have you in awe. George and Kathy are wonderful hosts and were super responsive and helpful when it came to finding the cabin and making sure our stay was as smooth as possible. We're looking forward to have the opportunity to stay again.
