We are a 7 minute uber ride to the French Quarter. Our prime location in the heart of the city puts you within a 15 minute ride or less of Tulane University, Audubon Zoo, City Park, Fairgrounds, Bayou St. John and the French quarter. Our home is located in an urban environment within close proximity to a mix of uses, including residential, retail, commercial and light industrial. Exterior noises may sometimes be heard in the house during normal business hours.

We were allowed an early check-in which was clutch for us given our early arrival times into NOLA. Although we initially couldn’t unlock the door- Nick and his team quickly responded and helped us enter. Home wasn’t as clean as we had expected but overall, was bright and just as it was described. The spacious home allows for the guests to get together but also to have their own space as well. We had some issues with the landscaping company showing up and leaf blowing at 7:15am and the coffee maker not working. But again, Nick and his team were responsive and we had a new coffee maker in minutes. We were never able to get the pool heated to a comfortable temp, unsure why. While our Uber drivers commented about being in a “bad area” we didn’t feel unsafe at anytime. The walk to While Foods was super convenient. And Flour Moon Bagels is also a quick walk to get some good eats. While there were a few hiccups, our host was responsive and was able to quickly make things right.

Great stay, pool heats to 90 degrees and was comfortable for a night dip, even during a rain storm. House was spaced out nicely and beds were very comfortable. The optional 6th bedroom looks like a walk in closet without the rails, it is attached to the master and useful if you have small kids, otherwise we didn't use it ourselves. Neighborhood is decent, would stay again!
Great stay! Nick and his team were very responsive. We had an issue with the coffee machine not working, but Nick was able to replace it ASAP which was super kind. Loved the house, and the location had many nearby walkable stores (gas station, Whole foods, bagel and coffee shops).
I visited Nicks place for Mardi Gras season 2024 and my group had a great experience at Nicks house. Nick was very responsive, helpful with recommendation’s, and he answered all my questions/concerns prior to arrival. His space was perfect and spacious and it looks exactly like the pictures. It accommodated all 10 of my guest comfortable. The bathrooms, rooms, and the linen were clean. which was an A+ for me. We had a private chef come to the house and Nick had all of the plates and folks that we needed to serve the food. The table was the perfect size for my groups brunch. I would highly recommend this place 10/10 for me. Thank you Nick for being a great host, please keep up the great work.

This home is located in the heart of Mid-City right off the Lafitte Greenway; a linear park that will bring you right to the French Quarter’s jazz clubs, eateries, bars and bistros or head up the park to Bayou St. John, City Park and the Fairgrounds. Also within a 12 minute drive is the WWII Museum and Audubon Aquarium. Staying at our home puts you right in the middle of all that New Orleans has to offer. We are also about 2 blocks away from Whole Foods.
The nearby Orleans Avenue bus line can bring you to the outskirts of the French Quarter or up to Bayou St. John and City Park. Our location is roughly a 7 minute uber/lyft from the French Quarter. To access the French Quarter, walk a half block down to N. Broad and turn left and walk 1 block over to Orleans Avenue. Take the #32 Bus down Orleans until it makes a left of Basin Street. Basin street runs parallel to the French Quarter so get off at whatever stop you would like and head one block over the French Quarter. To head to City Park take the bus the other direction and get off at Carrollton Ave. At Carrollton Ave transfer to the City Park/Museum Streetcar which ends in front of City Park and the New Orleans Museum of Art.
