An amazing time spent here with family for my dads 60th birthday! Already planning a trip to return soon as we all enjoyed it that much. Beautiful surroundings and the lodge was perfect for what we needed! Thanks again !

The stay was fantastic, though brief. Which is why the unresolved issue with the hot tub really affected the stay. But I would definitely reccommend this stay to friends and family who are looking for a peaceful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The interior had everything we needed and the kitchen, dining, and living space was cozy and comfortable enough for 4. We did take dogs, and it was the most perfect lodge for this - away from everyone, right next to the treeline. The patio was fenced off and hidden from view. It was exactly what we needed. The bar/restaurant was lovely - if a bit manic on the Saturday night. It is important to look at the website for affected closing times. It is 5 minutes to Pocklington centre for a small day out of shops. And only 25 minutes to York. I will definitely be reccommending this stay and we are hoping to make it an annual - or more - tradition to visit this particular lodge with our friends.

Great accommodation, didn’t like the wasps though ! Not a lot for kids to do but that was my fault as I booked it on what the accommodation was like and didn’t look into it ! I imagine it’s great if you play golf though!
