A phenomenal house, host and location. We had 2 young kids with us and it still was an easy and dream stay. Lauren was so helpful from the booking until the min we left. 100 percent advise a stay, we will be going back!

What a lovely house, beautifully decorated with nice views. The house is big with lots of space for a group/extended family to stay together. The kitchen diner was a great place to hang out and the living room was cosy with the woodburner. Lauren was very responsive when we couldn't find the key safe or get the heating going so we got it sorted quickly even when getting a signal proved problematic at times. We loved being in the countryside yet near enough to Marple Bridge to walk to within about half an hour and the Hare and Hounds is a nice pub 5 minutes walk away. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed looking after the chickens and playing in the garden. I would definitely recommend this place to stay.

We had a great stay at Lauren’s house & would definitely recommend. The house is very spacious, comfortable & beautifully decorated. There are tons of great toys and books, our children were entertained for hours. And the chickens & fresh eggs every morning were definitely a hit with our city children ! Well equipped kitchen overlooking the garden, great to keep an eye on the kids while enjoying the view. Worth noting that location is pretty remote (there is a pub in the village though) & about 30/40mn drive from the Peak District main attractions but that was totally fine for us.
