Set in a residential part of the town, this beautiful cottage is less than a mile from the heart of the bustling coastal resort of Swanage, and makes a wonderful holiday home for up to eight guests. Providing welcoming holiday accommodation for larger families and groups of friends, this light and refreshing property is ideal for exploring the gorgeous coastline, quaint villages and spellbinding countryside of the Isle of Purbeck. Occupying three floors, this stylishly decorated retreat is a perfect getaway for walkers, nature lovers, surfers and cyclists discovering this stunning area. A few steps lead up into the cottage, where you will find a light-filled lounge, perfect for relaxing in with a good book or movie on the Smart TV/DVD at the end of a great day. The pretty dining room is a sociable space with a warming wood burner, ideally situated by the fully equipped galley kitchen. The boot room has plenty of space for coats and wetsuits. Steep, narrow cottage-style stairs lead to two delightful first-floor double bedrooms along with a stylish bathroom and a separate shower room. A further flight of cottage-style stairs leads up to the second-floor bedrooms: a charming twin room and an airy super-king-size room with an en-suite shower room and Smart TV. Outside, the fully enclosed courtyard garden is reached via a flight of external stone steps leading to a pretty terrace with outdoor furniture, then up to a sunny area with an artificial lawn and a BBQ. Due to changes in level, care should be taken with children. With its beautiful bay, sandy beach, traditional promenade, Victorian pier and a range of great pubs, restaurants and amusements including arcades and crazy golf, Swanage makes a wonderful traditional seaside destination. Local attractions include Corfe Castle, Durlston Country Park, The Blue Pool and Dancing Ledge (all within 7.5 miles).
