I want to thank you Gail for letting me use your family’s cottage. We had a very good time other than it rained the whole time..Beautiful place only thing if you want privacy make sure you plan accordingly.I love this cottage I will definitely return or pass the word on. Beautiful cathedral ceilings all nice wood work barn board the bed rooms ceilings only go half way up and is open it is a older cottage that was the beauty of it. So it is like being on the original cape in a cozy cottage before they started putting up all new houses had a great time everything is fully stocked in kitchen.. I will definitely be returning next year.. Thank you again…

Gail’s place was great! I wasn’t 100% sure about the location as I have never been to Cape Cod. I always heard you want to stay on the ocean side, etc. I took a gamble and booked here. Let me tell you… YOU WILL LOVE STAYING HERE. The location is phenomenal. Literally steps to the beach. I actually got up one morning for sunrise it was the most incredible sunrise I have ever experienced and I travel a lot. The sunsets were incredible as well. The fact that this house is steps to the beach makes it more amazing. Easy access for the bathroom, drinks, food, etc. The walls don’t go all the way to the ceiling so if you are traveling with kids or friends just make a note of that. My friend and I traveled together and it was fine for us with separate rooms but you did hear tv/phone from the other room. Also make a note that there are not linens at the house. We unfortunately didn’t find out until we were on our way so we have to spend $$ on sheets and towels. Make sure to pack your own. The outdoor shower was everything! I felt so rejuvenated after using it. Highly recommend, It’s very private! It seemed like all the restaurants in the area close between 9/9:30pm. So if you are a late eater or if you want to catch sunset on the beach like we did, be prepared to either rush to a place or just cook at the house for the night. The house had a fully equipped kitchen I.e. utensils, plates, pots & pans. Long story short; book here I highly doubt you will be disappointed. You can see the water from the house. The beach is awesome, you can actually swim in the water because it’s calm, relaxing and crystal clear. I’m glad I booked and I will definitely look to re-book this house when I visit in the future. Amazing location !!!! We stayed at the Red cottage in Sep during the labor day weekend and feel in love with this place. We loved the cottage. It was cute and well maintained. The location is amazing - easy access to the beach and bike paths. The beach during the low tide is really good. They stocked up the garage with lots of toys. We used the kayaks and it was so much fun !!! Would love to come back ...

We had a great stay at the red cottage! Pros: The location really can't be beat - it's maybe 45 seconds to the beach? The beach at low tide is great for toddlers and kids, and is very warm in the summer The house is very clean, the kitchen well stocked, and the garage with the beach toys you could imagine The mattresses were pretty new and comfy Per our request, Gail arranged an earlier check in, and also arranged for a high chair for our son Cons: There is one window AC unit. It wasn't too hot when we stayed, but if it were hot and humid, you would be mostly reliant on the windows and sea breeze for air The walls don't go all the way to the ceiling, so we had to tiptoe and be very quiet during our toddler's naps and when he went to sleep. Overall, a very good beach stay!
