The master bedroom includes a King bed, dresser and two free-standing racks to hang your clothes. In-between the second bedroom is a stunning modern farmhouse washroom with double sink and shower. The second room has two single beds with play area, reading nook, dresser and two free-standing clothing racks. The open concept area includes the modern living, dining and kitchen. The kitchen offers all the cooking essentials you will need to prepare meals during your stay. Enjoy relaxing evenings on our velvet grey couch, or do some karaoke live on the stage!

This was the perfect location for visiting family in the area. Place was spacious and clean. Had a little hiccup with the locks to get in but Melina and her husband were prompt at problem solving and getting us in. Definitely a nice country retreat. Bring country footwear as the driveway and entrance can get muddy with the weather - this is to be expected just an FYI to future guests.

In winter, the Durham Conservation Area provides an excellent venue for cross-country skiing and local trails offer snowmobiling, with rentals available at "The Homestead".
Explore the charming town of Durham, home to the scenic McGowan Falls and a variety of quaint local shops. And for your convenience, Walmart is only 15 minutes away in Hanover.
Our farmhouse is located in a rural area, guests will need a vehicle to visit area attractions.
