Super central apartment overlooking a quiet canal located just a minute away from the Fenice Theatre.San Marco square is 7 mins walk from the apartment, similar distance for Rialto. The Academia Bridge is just around the corner. 2 mins away from the S. Maria del Giglio vaporetto stop. Very central and very quiet at the same time due to its location in a side street and a long semi-private corridor to get to the building. WiFi; A/C. Check the rules of the house before booking. Thanks It is a cosy apartment in a traditional Venetian building with wooden beams on the ceilings. It comprises a living room, a small kitchen, 2 bedrooms with double beds (one of them double beds can be separated upon request) and a bathroom.

This was one of best stays we ever had! Lu was a fantastic host, she met us at the vaporetto stop to help us find the house, which it’s very easy to find after the first time, and she recommended us so many places where to eat and drink. She was always very friendly and responsive, helping us with all we needed. The house is also perfect, very central, with only a short walk distance from everything, but very quiet at the same time as it is in a private road along the canal. And the house is very spacious with all you need. We are looking forward to coming back here!! Definitely recommend this place!
Unweit vom öffentlichen Verkehr (Vaporetto-Station), mitten im Getümmel und dennoch sehr ruhig neben einer Tourismus-Hauptachse gelegen, ist die Wohnung ideal für die Erkundung der Stadt. Einkaufsmöglicheit in 5 Minuten zu Fuss erreirchbar, eine Bar für den Frühstückskaffee gibt's gleich um die Ecke: beste Voraussetzungen für einen gemütlichen Aufenthalt in Venedig.
Such incredible service. We were greeted at the water bus and walked to the apartment. Everything was explained in detail including great restaurant recommendations. Thanks for a great stay!!!!
Lu was extremely responsive and helpful. One thing to note is that everything in Venice is pretty 'near-by' and if you are able to walk, you can get to pretty much everything and anything within around 30 minutes of walking (at a good pace). There is a market 5 mins away, there are restaurants, there is gelato... and within 8 minutes - there is the Piazza San Marco. And, if you open the bedroom windows, there is a small canal where you may hear the gondolier singing as they pass by. Lovely.
Nous avons été accueillies directement à la sortie du vaporetto par Lulù qui est très gentiment venue nous chercher. Elle avait pris soin de nous envoyer les liens pour nous indiquer comment la retrouver depuis l'aéroport. Elle nous a accompagné jusqu'à l'appartement, elle avait même effectué à notre place l'achat des taxes d'accès au centre de Venise. Elle nous a donné plein d'adresses pratiques et s'est montrée ultra dispo si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit. L'appartement est conforme aux photos et descriptions, très bien placé et calme. Ça a été un très bon séjour ! Je recommande !

The Fenice neighborhood is my favourite in Venice (and not only because we have a house there!). It is very quiet as it is a bit outside of the main roads carrying the massive flow of daily tourists, but extremely central (you are a stone throw from St Mark’s Square, Accademia Bridge, Rialto, Santo Stefano) and very charming with very picturesque corners of the city just around. You will hopefully feel the peace of the apartment as well. The canal underneath the two bedrooms is very small and so only rare small boats and gondolas pass by there.
Whatever you do, you will see the beauty of the city all around you. If you need a supermarket there is a good Despar 3 mins away in San Marco 3988, but the real experience is to go shopping at Rialto market!
For breakfast, try freshly made cornetto at Caffe Theatro, just opposite Fenice or have breakfast in Campo Santo Stefano. For an afternoon spritz, you can have a very affordable one by the canal in one of the two bars near the house (right side) or, if you like something fancier you can try the bar at the Gritti Palace which is just 2 blocks away or of course the historical cafes in St Mark’s Square.
For lunch / dinner you are going to be spoilt with choice all around the city: it’s Italy and it’s Venice!
The closest vaporetto (ferry) stop is Santa Maria del Giglio with direct connections to the airport and the railway station.
If you like walking instead, the railways/ bus station is c.20-30 mins walking distance. To get around the center of Venice, I would always advice to try to walk as it is usually faster and very pleasant and you are no more than 10 mins walking distance from all the main attractions and no more than 25-30 mins walking distance from pretty much anywhere in the city
