Very nice place to stay! The place was clean and spacious enough for our group of 2 couples. Wished there were waste baskets in the bathrooms, though. Plenty of dishes and the bottled water was nice to see. Doug is very friendly and came to check on us to make sure we were comfortable which we were. Thank goodness he offered his golf cart to move in and out. A must for us!!! We used the boat lift and it worked out well. We definitely will be back next year!! Thanks Doug!

The boathouse cottage was a great place to spend a relaxing week for us and another couple. The location is convenient to many restaurants and activities and it can’t be any closer to the beautiful lake. The deck with plenty of seating is just steps from the water. The living room, kitchen and both bedrooms have water views. Doug responds very quickly to questions. The house is located down a hill from the parking area, but a golf cart is provided when needed.

We were looking for a nice quiet place to relax but with close proximity to restaurants, shopping and The Chautauqua Institute. We found it here. Doug was helpful with our luggage both at check in and at check out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved watching the water, boats and wildlife. A few hooks to hang coats up by the door would have been great as well as a few more pots, measuring spoons, food storage containers and larger coffee cups. Otherwise all was great and we will consider a future return visit. Thank you Doug!
