The kitchen has all the latest modern siemens appliances oven, microwave, warming drawer, large fridge/Freezer and slim line dishwasher, this mini kitchen is any budding chef’s dream. The living area with media its 65inch Samsung TV, Sonos Sound bar and large designers guild cosy wool sofa with loads of soft cushions and fur throws perfect to curl up relax with a book, have a movie night in, catch up on your favourite box set or go back to basics and play a board game. In winter unwind while sipping a glass of wine or in the summer relax on the patio and watch the resident wildlife of ducks, rabbits and squirrels enjoying the immaculate grounds. Ground Floor Bedroom and Bathroom Area The master bedroom with its 65inch Samsung TV, sumptuous Super king bed, pocket sprung mattress and soft as air duvet, pillows and fur throws to snuggle up on those cold winter nights, all perfect for a peaceful night’s sleep. The Main bathroom with striking grey Porcelanosa feature tiles, large round stone bath with rainfall shower above and stone pedestal washbasin all with matt black finish taps and accessories, luxury local toiletries, soft fluffy towels and robes. Wake up early, open the plantation shutters and enjoy the sounds of the countryside while relaxing with a morning coffee, pastry and a visit from the resident ducks and rabbits. This truly is the perfect sanctuary. The master bedrooms enjoys a private patio the perfect location to enjoy a locally distilled rhubarb gin and tonic and enjoy the sunset or an early morning coffee while watching the local wildlife.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights, we absolutely loved it, we were very impressed as we felt the hosts thought of every little thing to make it a real home from home experience, everything is very modern and up to date, the home was absolutely beautiful we loved the thought and effort that went into all the interior designing, it felt like a real luxury. The location is great if you have a car, we were a very short drive away from most things. We could not fault the stay at all. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here. The noise issue was with the building the suite was located in. It was brought to the attention of the place but there was nothing they could do during our stay so we lost 2 nights of sleep. The oven was a little tricky to figure out but we got the hang of it pretty quick. Loved the decoration especially the bathroom and the TV at the end of the bed. Didn’t eat at the restaurant within the main building but did use the pool. The cleaning company leave a note with everything they want you to do before checkout but there’s a non-optional £50 cleaning fee charged so it’s a bit unreasonable to be asked to do the level of cleaning they ask when charging this price. All they have to do is re-make the bed and clean the bathroom and the floors. If this fee was optional or levels of cleaning required would be more acceptable with them asking you to clean up after yourself especially when being charged for cleaning. A hotel doesn’t include a cleaning fee and do more than this company does.
Thanks for the wonderful stay. Your place is absolutely gorgeous. Everything was beautifully decorated and also very clean. The views were stunning. A lovely place to stay. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

Lovely interior design, very clean and modern. Location is peaceful and beautiful views from the patio. Location is great as a base camp to explore the lakes.

Parking for guests is ample, you can unload your car at the reception then move the car a short drive to Whitbarrow guest car park
