We had a lovely family getaway at Katie’s cottage. Perfect spot for walks with the dog, and a 30 min drive to the Norfolk beaches. The place was the right size for a family of three plus a middle size dog, well equipped and comfortable, with a real homely feel. Just note if you have a dog that the garden/paddock is large but not securely closed off, with a large amount of wild life around.

Katie’s cottage was very charming and the perfect little bolt hole for our small family to explore Suffolk and Norfolk. The living room was incredibly picturesque with the wooden beams and log burner. We felt incredibly welcome with milk already in the fridge, logs stocked up next to the log burner, and even some local chocolates. Katie was also very helpful with any request we had :)

We were impressed with the warmth and cosiness of this really old cottage as well as with the eco-friendly heating/power and other provision. It was convenient for our visit to Pulham Market and we arrived to hear little owls and a tawny owl calling in the misty moonlight - magical! Other rural wildlife was much in evidence on local roads and the place was so peaceful - a real tonic. We felt welcomed and cared-for. Guests do need to be aware that the bathroom/toilet is on the ground floor, while bedrooms are upstairs and that there is no stair-rail, but the cottage has been adapted well, for its original size and the accommodation is good value for money.

I took my daughter and our 3 dogs for a mini break..we had 2 nights in this very pretty, cosy cottage..it was very clean and comfortable..Katie was a lovely host and very helpful from the start, we travelled to Earsham hall, and The street Cafe in Bungay on her recommendations. And also did plenty of walking with the dogs..we found a nice walk in a National trust wood nearby. Great place..I'd highly recommend it.
