Your view of the forest from the deck is really beautiful. The crystal clear water of the Caddo River is steps away and the Ouachita National Forest adjoins our property. You will be amazed at the star filled sky at night. Hiking trails and unpaved country roads are waiting to be to explored. Crystals are found in the river and several crystal mines are minutes away. The. Albert Pike recreation area and ATV trails and rentals are 15 minutes away. Missouri Falls is just a short drive away. Come visit the home on this 20 acre property. The Caddo river runs thru the place and it is bordered by The Ouachita National Forest. Come and the fully equipped kitchen and enjoy the fire pit for roasting Marshmallows. There are 2 Queen size beds, one in the bedroom the other is a pullout sofa sleeper. Not your typical sofa sleeper it has a temperpedic mattress and is very comfortable. Also there are 2 baths for your convenience. We have security cameras on the driveway and walk to the river is across a green pasture and the view from the deck is beautiful.

Kay and her husband were very sweet people. Got to ride in the side by side for a tour of the property. Very beautiful land, clean house. Great little fire pit but we werent able to use it because of rain. Couple of things to be aware of.... There is no cell phone service, at least for us on AT&T, which made things a bit more difficult when trying to communicate with the owners or figuring out our day. Obviously that is not their fault. This home also has Well water which has a sulfur smell when running any water, kitchen and bathroom. My darn city kids refused to get in the shower. lol Again not the owners fault just something to be aware of. Great little place! And lovely owners. Great location for Crystal Mining and about an hour from Diamond Crater. Both great fun!
If you're looking for a quiet place surrounded by nature, The Dancing Eagle Inn is for you. My little family and I stayed through the Thanksgiving holiday, and we enjoyed the beautiful foliage overlooking the mountains, the tranquil sunrises hitting the Caddo River sitting just beneath the property, and warm campfires to end our day. Shortly after arriving, Mrs. Kay greeted us with a fresh baked cherry pie. It was delicious. The next day Mr. Ron graciously gave us an ATV tour ride that was packed with all kinds of cool information. The cottage is quaint and feels like home. All the amenities are available; the furniture is nice and cozy, the kitchen is stocked as described, towels were soft and clean, games and movies were on-hand for our entertainment. Mrs. Kay and Mr. Ron were very kind and hospitable during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Dancing Eagle Inn, and we'll definitely be back.

This 20 acre farm adjoins the Ouachita national forest and has the Caddo river running through it. The forest area is unspoiled and beautiful. Wolf Pen Gap ATV trails are a 15 minute drive and Little Missouri Falls is a short drive, where you can swim and picnic by the falls. Mt Ida has a Heritage Museum with antiques and historic information. There is no charge to visit and Norman has restored the the old high school with historical info and antiques.
There are numerous Crystal mines in a 10 to 20 mile radius for anyone interested in collecting crystals. The area is known for its high quality crystals. Norman, is 5.5 mile east where you can find the Norman General store for Pizza and sandwiches and gas. Also a Dollar General for a few groceries and gas. Mt Ida and Glenwood are a short drive East and Mena is 30 minutes away.
Big Fork Mall is a 10 minute drive West and there is a cafe and gas station available.
