The glass balcony is the perfect place to sit with a drink in hand, breathing in the fresh sea air as you decide whether to fire up the BBQ or hop into the bubbling hot tub below. Not to worry though, you’ll have more than enough time for both. The property has an upside-down layout, with the bright and spacious open-plan living space upstairs, designed to make the most of the delightful views across towards Northam Village. Bi-folding doors peel back to bring the outdoors in on sunny days while providing great views from the sofa on colder winter’s nights. Bleached floorboards and sandy light tones bring a coastal touch to the apartment with cloudy blues and greys accentuating the colour palette. The colourful sumptuous bedrooms on the ground floor provide a relaxing retreat at the end of the day as well as a quick route to the terrace for an early morning al fresco breakfast. When you feel the need for the ocean, grab your beach towels and walk down to the main beach in Westward Ho!. You have everything you need there with shops and cafes, a traditional sweet shop and surf shops. Further afield, the beaches of Croyde (19 miles) and Woolacombe (22 miles) won’t disappoint and there are also some lovely villages to discover such as Appledore (3 miles) and the quaint cliffside village of Clovelly with its resident donkeys, 13 miles away.
