Cindy was a fantastic host and super helpful to us newcomers. She provided us an eat-off-the-floor clean home that we truly will miss. We stayed with her during the search & closing of our new home. With Cindy’s recommendations and insight of the area we were able to explore local activities and restaurants that made adventuring on the weekends worthwhile. We highly recommend Cindy’s cottage to anyone looking for a great home that feels like home, close to ski mountains, great restaurants, and hiking opportunities. Husband and I stayed at Cindy's Fairlee VT house for almost the entire month of October 2023 - and had a wonderful time! Cindy and her husband are the nicest people and most accommodating of hosts. They will do anything to make your stay more convenient and pleasurable. They live in the area and so are easy to reach out to with questions, comments and suggestions. The house is warm and cozy and very nicely furnished. Outside the yard is also very pretty with trees, shrubs, home-grown flowers, a big bird-feeder and accompanying bird-fountain. We spent may early evenings sitting on the little outside desk watching the birds feed, bath and frolic just at the edge of the yard - very relaxing! The few neighbors we had were friendly and quiet! I highly recommend staying at this property for either business travel or just to get a taste of Vermont village life.
