We really enjoyed our stay at Malbec cottage! We had everything we needed, and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the Turkish bath. The views are amazing!! Mountains all around. Although the other cottages are a little bit closer than we expected, it didn’t negatively affect our experience as the back area where the braai and Turkish bath are located feel very private as they are surrounded by trees, and we couldn’t hear other guests at all. When we had a few questions during our stay, Willem answered my messages promptly and sorted things out really quickly. Thank-you so much for a lovely time!

What a great weekend spot. We spent most of the weekend in the turkish bath- we were so surprised to find it pre-heated for our arrival! The views from the bath over vineyards to the mountains never gets old and the birds visiting the garden made it extra special. When the weather turned bad we had such a peaceful time relaxing by the fireplace. The cottage has everything you need. It was spotless clean and we felt right at home. From the cottage we could cycle beautiful routes and found some great wine farms in the area. The 7 oaks complimentary tasting was also a very nice touch. We hope to return soon.

Beautiful cosy peaceful place , accommodation had a-lot of attention to details , turkish bath was awesome . owners were very responsive and accommodating , and you get a free wine tasting on the winery , we will be back for sure !

We knew we were in for a treat from the moment we arrived at Malbec Cottage. Nestled in the heart of Seven Oaks, this one-bedroom cottage is a delightful blend of comfort and charm, offering a perfect getaway for two. The queen-sized bed provided a restful night's sleep, enveloping us in its cosy warmth after a day of exploring. The en-suite bathroom, equipped with a shower, was spotless and well-maintained, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. The kitchen and dining area were a dream come true for us as self-catering travellers. We had all the amenities we needed to whip up our meals, making our stay feel like a home away from home. But the real gem of Malbec Cottage is its private wood-fired Turkish Bath. What a unique and delightful feature! It was the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. The indoor and outdoor braais were a fantastic addition, allowing us to enjoy a traditional South African braai under the stars. Highly recommended!
