Enjoy watching the dolphins swim past or even feed a pelican if your lucky. Beautiful home and the view of the ocean and the stars was breathtaking! Loved our stay here and the suggestions Marcus had for us of things to do on the island! Highly recommend this place!
Highly recommend. Such a cosy house with all amenities, close to Kingscote town and beautiful surroundings. Very comfortable and suited our family and kids well. Great communication from Marcus and only wished we had more time to relax there. 5star ⭐️
While there are positive aspects, there were some issues that impacted our experience.pillows on the beds were thin & lacked proper stuffing.Some basic kitchenware was lacking ie;measuring jugs/cups, a whisk, & reusable containers to pack lunches.The liquid soap in bathrooms were diluted with water, It squirted everywhere & we had to use 3-4 pumps to ensure our hands were cleaned properly. No hand soap provided in the kitchen. As a large family, we used the dishwasher frequently and there weren’t enough dishwasher tablets provided for our needs.The kitchen sink’s water pressure needs adjusting.Bdroom 2 had a mouldy smell, which was unpleasant.Unable to use fireplace, as owners said it was only for winter.We had hoped to enjoy the fireplace for a cozy holiday experience.The ad mentions a Chromecast, but guests need their own log-ins.A drip coffee maker was available no coffee grounds were provided, & there were no instructions how to use it. No outside light @ front. Nice kitchen though

Great location,terrific view, quite roomy. Maintenance required to the doors and windows which were difficult to use otherwise it was a nice place to stay.

Captains at Kingscote is located right opposite the seafront. Why not play a game of cricket on the foreshore or take a walk to Kingscote shops cafes along the bike track...or for those in the know, visit the Yacht-Club (a short walk) for dinner on a Friday night.
There is parking for up to 6 cars off-street at the property.
