The house is lovely.We loved discovering Lt Island, but we didn’t feel great about the overall experience.This is our first, out of about 10 stays through Airbnb, where we’ve rented through a big company. At somewhat last minute we added two guests. This incurred a hefty additional $588 for the week. This is the first time I’ve experienced additional fees for people who fit into beds in the house. The instructions were adamant about having only 6 people max (we were 5) in the house at any time, while the house actually had bed space for 8.I think we come to Airbnb to rent from people, not large companies. Perhaps it’s a necessary evil on the Cape to find a nice place. For the very expensive overall cost, we expected better conditions. Appliances are cheap, walkways uneven, exterior lighting points upward, which is blinding and dangerous. The baseboard is missing on the wall in the closet. The are a lot of ants in the house. Bathtub drain leaks. No way to access the sound system.

We normally stay at Sandy beach cottages with no air conditioners. This was an upgrade. What a treat. Absolutely gorgeous and so nice to have ac after a hot beach day. Always ❤️Lieutenant island, thank you

This house was perfectly appointed and very clean. It’s also really quiet, too. We were very comfortable and enjoyed Lt Island. The photos are very accurate. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again!
