We loved staying at The Verandas. Had room number 8. Super comfy bed, easy access to room as well as front door with code. Delicious, fancy breakfast served on fine china. Parlour with chess game and albums with history of the renovation of this historic home.

One of the best AirBnBs I've recently stayed at, I highly recommend! Great price for the quality of the stay, amazing food, very clean, and very beautiful location. Feels almost like you live at the mansion and not a bed and breakfast, lots of privacy and comfort. There is even a room to play chess and checkers, play piano, and sift through old history books and photos of the property. Equally lovely stay and informative learning experience about the old historical area of Wilmington. Highly recommend, and will be coming back!

Beautiful home, ambient decor, quiet neighborhood, rich with history. Our second stay and couldn’t be more delighted. The breakfast cannot be overlooked; it is always phenomenal. Even my toddler indulges! The room we booked had a fridge installed since our first stay - much appreciated! Necessary during the summer, for sure. Only negative was that robes were not provided as they were the first time; which I had loved and anticipated. A stay with high quality linens is one of our top priorities; and this B&B’s buttery bedding, dense pillows, and robes are one of our favorite experiences in that department :)
