Could not ask for a more peaceful and beautiful location! We are locals and still felt like we were far away in paradise! The host was responsive and easy to coordinate with. We will be back!

We had a great stay. The island is beautiful and the hosts were super helpful and responsive. We had a lot of fun kayaking, playing games, reading, and hanging out on the beach. I recommend bringing abundant drinking water and some extra towels.

This place is amazing! We mostly interacted with Captain Mikey before and during our visit. He contacted me before our arrival date to describe details of the accommodations and the boat ride to and from the island. He was very flexible about arrival and departure times, and very helpful all-around. The cabin on the island has a stove/oven, a refrigerator, and a hot water heater, all powered by propane. There is also a propane-powered space heater which we used in the evenings during our stay in March. Electric lights and a few outlets are powered by a bank of batteries that are charged during the daylight hours using solar panels. We had a few technical difficulties with the hot water heater, the refrigerator, and the electric power, but Mikey responded quickly to our calls for assistance and we were able to resolve our issues with his instructions over the phone! I'd recommend bringing your own drinking water -- the island tap water is fine for cooking but not so nice for drinking!

Our stay was incredible. We could not have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy the outdoors with our dogs. The cabin was cozy and we loved spending the nights playing board games and reading. The screened in porch offered beautiful views and was perfect for morning coffee. Our dogs loved running leash free around the island and splashing in the water. We also spent some time kayaking around the island and it was a blast. The hosts were so friendly and make check in and check out very easy. The cabin had everything we needed for a weekend get away. We’re already thinking about our next visit!

A magical experience. The noise of the world simply fell away. So many moments of joy. So thankful to have ushered in the New Year in such a unique spot.
