10/10 would stay again. Ramona's place offers secure on-site parking behind a gate, and is a five minute drive from San Ignacio city center. There's a supermarket 2 minute drive away. We stayed in the 2 bedroom place, and my husband and I were traveling with our 2 year old. Ramona went out of there way to supply toys for our son, and was super responsive. On-site laundry (for a fee) was really handy for us as well. Little quirks like full towel sets including hair towels and hand/face towels, filtered water provided in the unit, and good air conditioning units in the bedrooms round out this place. Only thing is there is no a/c unit in the main kitchen area, so peak middle of the day it gets quite warm but if you have both bedroom A/C's running and the doors open it's tolerable. Super minor as we were out and about most of the day anyways :). We would stay here again without any hesitation whatsoever!!!

Elle's Place was an absolute delight. We felt right at home. The area is gorgeous and welcoming. Everything is relatively close and at a walking distance. The property is gorgeous and friendly

Ramona’s place was exactly what we needed. It was fairly quiet, other than typical wildlife noises. It’s about a 20min walk into downtown which wasn’t a problem for us. Grocery store is just 5-7min walk. Ramona was very kind and helpful with our stay. Would recommend to others looking for a peaceful stay in San Ignacio.

Probably the best airbnb experience I have had! Ramona is a great host that she is super responsive, always answering each of my little questions within short period of time. She gives great recommendations about tours and even check for local prices to make sure we are not taken advantage of. She has great relationships with people in tours and taxi businesses, because of that, we got picked up by tour company right from the airbnb! What is even more impressive is how beautifully arranged this airbnb is. Everything is spotless, decorations make you feel at home. I can see myself wanting to spend an entire summer here just to be at peace and in a lovely environment. Ramona is so thoughtful that she gives very clear instructions in her guidebook or rule book, where you can find all information about everything you can think of, even doctors! She also preserved cold water for us in the fridge due to the high temperature. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Elle's place was a great selection for our stay in San Ignacio. The place was clean and comfortable. Ramona checked in to see if we had everything we needed. Since we knew we would be out exploring most days, we just needed a place to land at the end of the day. The place was clean. A/C in the bedrooms worked great. Note that this home is uphill from town. Even though it's close to downtown, most people will want to take a taxi which is easy to get in town for $10 US. If you are coming without your own car, I would recommend a quick stop at the grocery store for coffee, snacks, etc. There is a full-sized refrigerator, coffee pot, and bottled water.
