Without a doubt Newton Manor Hall is the best Airbnb I have stayed at. Not only is the host Alan so friendly, helpful and attentive - literally nothing seemed too much trouble, but the Hall and garden itself is beautiful, peaceful, very well equipped and clean. There is genuinely a very calming vibe about the place, we would highly recommend!

Our group had an amazing time at Alan's place. The property is incredible, with a range of different artefacts and historical items on display. The garden outside is stunning and very peaceful. We used the firepit which was a great addition. The amenities are great including a large kitchen and multiple bathrooms. Location is great, only a short walk from town in a peaceful street. Without a doubt though, the highlight was Alan. What a host! He was very accommodating with our larger group. Incredibly friendly and helpful, he went well above and beyond for us. As a host, he is the very best.

Our big noisy family of 10 had the most amazing time at Alan’s, the experience complete with a dining table which could fit us all for the rare occasion of a big family dinner. Alan is a wonderful host, very friendly, welcoming and accommodating his guests needs with great attention to detail. The house is a perfect setting for a special stay and is a true home away from home. Swanage with its surroundings provides a perfect setting for a family adventure and has lots to offer to children and adults alike. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

A really gorgeous place - myself and my 7 friends had a wonderful time celebrating my 30th. The large hall area is magnificent, loads of interesting trinkets and things, including a rocking horse, a piano, a suit of armor and a lovely roaring fire (which Alan kindly offered to start up for us when we were on the way home from the pub!) Alan is a great host, very hands on and helpful, gave great recs whenever we asked - but also was respectful of our privacy. We were initially unsure about how sharing kitchen would work - but it really wasn't an issue at all! We hardly crossed paths there. We also initially misunderstood when booking that there were only 2 bedrooms not 3. I think it is explained on the description but we missed that, so worth repeating here. If you are a bigger group, make sure you're happy to be all in 3 or 4 to each room (we were! but it might not be for everyone!) Overall we had a fantastic time, and I was delighted to celebrate my birthday there

The is a very unique property and easy walking distance to centre of town. Alan very friendly and welcoming. Anyone wanting to stay should read the listing carefully - 2 bedrooms and a shared kitchen
