what a heavenly oasis in the middle of Berkeley. I can't say enough good things about Kate's spot. first of all, Kate is so friendly, helpful and responsive. The apartment is so homey, with an axing fireplace and cozy couch, as well as a lovely little outdoor area. the kitchen is big and really well stocked. the bed was so comfortable and it's very quiet, so I slept like a baby. The location is near Ashby Bart station and has plenty of restaurants to walk to. I really can't imagine a more perfect Airbnb and I will definitely be back next time I'm in town. thank you so much for creating such a welcoming space!

My partner and I had an incredible month-long stay at Kate's apartment. We had everything we needed and loved drinking coffee by the electric wood stove in the morning. The apartment was tastefully decorated and got lots of natural light. The neighborhood was also great: a good coffee shop, local bar, gym, and yoga place on our block. Kate and Paul were the nicest hosts, too! We wished we could have stayed longer!

Imagine a bright, stylish, spacious ground floor apartment cleverly sheltered from the road, a short bus ride from the town centre, a short walk from the underground rail system taking you to San Francisco and beyond plus caring hosts and you’re only just beginning to get an idea of this wonderful home and its owners. We can’t wait to be back!

I was in Kate's apartment for a work trip and unfortunately ill. It was all the more important that I felt very comfortable there and that Kate was extremely helpful. It's a charming place, easy to get to and a really nice place with a wonderful hostess. I would stay there again anytime!
