Consuelos only fault is she tries so hard to make you feel welcome. An example is she asked me what I wanted for breakfast I said “eggs, toast, coffee, fruit, oatmeal anything like that”. I thought I’d get some of these things instead I got them ALL. She cares very much about the comfort of her guests and is very kind. Also she loves dogs and wants everyone to know she wants more visitors with dogs - so if like me you’re traveling with a dog and need a nice quiet clean place to stay between Toronto and Ottawa this is the place

Helpful and responsive host who made me feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The bedrooms are large, beautifully painted and decorated and there is a living room to lounge in and a bright breakfast room with a view. The breakfast was very good and with fresh ingredients and some from the garden. Coffee was plentiful and strong ... just perfect. Co-host was also very welcoming. I look forward to returning.

Consuelo and Martin were amazing hosts. I was made to feel very comfortable right away and the house is beautiful. Their hospitality was especially heart warming. Every day, I was treated to a wonderful breakfast that Consuelo prepared especially for me. She checked in with me every evening and every morning to see if there was anything I needed. I had a very busy week visiting my son and his wife and newborn and each evening I returned to their airbnb and rested in a very clean, very beautifully decorated room. The accommodations were beyond my expectations. Their kindness was so appreciated.
