Our family has traveled to so many incredible resorts and homes, and this was definitely in our top 2 or 3 ever. Absolutely gorgeous home and property that is well cared for and a pleasure to stay at. Access to the water from your back porch, 1/2 block from the awesome and cute Boyne City, where we went for groceries, breakfast, beers, or a great French restaurant. We highly recommend this place, and would love to return!

What a gorgeous place to stay! This property was not available when we booked another house nearby, but storm damage the day before arrival forced our host Lindsay to press this property into service almost literally at the last minute. Thanks Lindsay for making it all work for us! The teen boys used the kayaks to explore the river while the adults enjoyed the beautiful patio. It was a short stay and the weather was great so we didn’t use the extensive indoor living areas, which is a shame since there are so inviting. We spent some time talking with the property owner about the history of the place, he is clearly passionate about it! Easy 5 minute walk to all of the downtown establishments.
