Super quiet place in the woods. The house is nice and clean, the lawn around the house large, with a firepit and a little play structure for kids. We say so many deer in the evening! The only downside is that it is advertised for up to 6 guests but the dining table has space only for 4 and there are only 4 chairs so we took turns. Overall though the place is very nice and I'd stay there again.

Another very pleasant stay at this cabin! The place is always very nicely kept, and the perfect mix of remote/private/peaceful, and near enough to shops and amenities you might need.

Great place to be on your own and away from anyone. Middle of the woods but close to a main road to travel around. We were looking for a place near Forest County and this was just outside that but close to where we need to go in different directions for a few days. Would be glad to visit again.

First Airbnb was a huge success! House was neat and clean with very functional appliances and kitchen. Spotty cell service, but I didn’t mind - it’s “remote.” Only thing I would add is a picture of the driveway from rt36! Happy I checked it out on Street View before I headed up, as per the host’s recommendation in our messaging! House was close enough to Punxsutawney that I enjoyed a great Groundhog Day as well!

This is just the place if you’re looking for a retreat in the woods near Cook’s Forest. It was not hard to find even though you can’t see the building from the road. With three bedrooms and a large fully equipped kitchen it would be great for a family or for several friends to stay. You don’t have to see anyone at all for the whole stay if you wish, but Clarion, Cook’s Forest State Park, and the Allegheny National Forest are each only 15-20 minutes away if you crave these kinds of adventures.
