Come to de-stress and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, Only 10 minutes away from the lovely towns of Buxton and Leek with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. If you are looking to relax, get away from it all and experience some beautiful countryside then we are the perfect choice. We have four more rooms if this is not available or you have a larger group of up to 10 people, Search for the same area or for their names - Happy Hare, Crazy Cow, Dizzy Deer and Bouncy Badger. Walk The Roaches visit Chatsworth House and gardens, see a show at The Buxton Opera House, try the famous Bakewell Pudding, shop at Leeks antique centres or enjoy the rides at Alton Towers we have lots of attractions nearby! Perfect for couples looking to unwind, unfortunately we are not suitable for babies or animals. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitise high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines

Sophia and Steve were excellent hosts, accommodation is perfect for getting away for a quiet and peaceful few days, recommendation for food at the local pub - The Lazy Trout was excellent. we will definitely be returning.
Beautiful room and great amenities and absolutely stunning location for walking and relaxing.
Fantastic location, clearly signposted. The room was functional, modern and very clean. Special mention to the wonderful views from bed across the valley, the lovely cotton sheets and massive super king sized bed. The shower was small but surprisingly impressive, hot and powerful. The kitchen facilities perfect for our requirements, and the tv was a good touch to listen to the news / watch a film of a late evening. There were also some lovely picnic benches out the front which would be perfect for a morning coffee, along with numerous footpaths to walk on without touching the road. We looked at the website and booked dinner at one of the restaurants which was a great choice - the information was informative and catered to all tastes. Overall, a fantastic stay and wish we were there longer! Would highly recommend and will certainly be back!

We loved our stay here so much!! The place was beautiful, clean and tidy. It was very well equipped! The scenery around the place was absolutely beautiful and you can see the sun rise and set from literally stepping outside the door! Thank you so much

The Peak District is an amazing national park including Chatsworth's world famous stately home, gardens and grounds, Buxton with spring waters and opera house, Bakewell with its famous pudding and the market town of Leek with many antique shops.
Many renowned walks and climbs including the Roaches with stunning views or Lathkill Dale in the white peak. Monsall and Tissington trails are great off road tracks for cycling and walking and some trails are horse friendly.
Alton Towers is nearby for the more adventurous and there are numerous farms and wildlife parks.
Manchester airport is 1 hour by car or get the bus or train to Buxton from Manchester.
Buxton train station is 10 minutes away by private car/taxi.
Parking is private and is directly outside the accommodation.

I love where we live! We moved to Anroach Farm several years ago and set up our rooms for people to escape too, so that they can enjoy the rugged beauty that surrounds us and this magical relaxing place. I love wildlife and we often have deer, hares and curlew in the surrounding fields. I work as a photographer and am never short of things to photograph as well as working in software. I like Football, Walking, Music and Cooking.
