Loved the location of this cottage. Right by the bike trail and 2 blocks from all the restaurants and shops downtown. We didn’t get back in our car after we arrived until we checked out. Very cute cottage and would have liked to enjoy the outdoor space if the weather had been a little warmer. Plenty of space for the two of us. Courtney was very responsive and great to work with.

Could not have been happier with our stay at the Monroe Cottage! It was SO clean and comfortable, and a great location in Decorah. You're at the heart of everything, and just a couple blocks off main street. As a Luther alum back for a reunion, it was the perfect place to dive back in to a town that I know and love so dearly. Thank you!

I was so happy to find this place! It's very close to downtown with lots of shops, the Vesterheim museum, food co-op, and restaurants. It's also right off the Trout run bike trail. It was very comfortable with exceptional attention to details (e.g. comfortable bed, nice lighting, cute kitchen, and a great private outdoor space - and more!). Sparkling clean. Very quiet. Easy street parking. Courtney was a great host and excellent and very responsive communicator. Can't recommend it enough - I was sad to leave it.
