Wake up with a beautiful stroll along the coast in the iconic college beach town of Isla Vista. Our family home is a perfect base for exploring the gorgeous UCSB Campus, Santa Barbara beaches, Spanish-style downtown, mountain hiking, and renowned restaurants. We’re just a 6 minute walk to the beach and lovely nature trails. Although IV can be boisterous during the school year, the area feels peaceful. And it’s a dream in the Summer! 🏖️☀️ Need something special? We love to help! Make our family home your coastal haven! As typical of beach towns, our home is small but cozy. With a Cal-king and private bath in the master, twin bunk bed, twin trundle, couch and optional air bed, our home sleeps 6-7 guests. We hope you have a wonderful time, but know we have an absolutely zero tolerance policy for parties on the premises. PLEASE NOTE: The full property also includes a tiny home on the back half and separate studio with one shared wall. Please respect other guest’s privacy and know other guests will be sharing the driveway to access their unit 😊 All guests have a private outdoor space with seating.

We looooved staying in Isla Vista at Dia and Mike's. What a treasure to have a place to stay in this unique community. It was the perfect location for what we wanted, which was proximity to campus and our old apartments in IV for our 20 year college reunion. Dia and Mike were extremely responsive and we really appreciated the use of their bikes!

We were in town for two nights to visit UCSB and the surrounding area. We have three kids and there was plenty of room for the five of us. The location was perfect- we could walk to the beach and restaurants. Dia and Mike were available to address any issues (there were none). They made us feel right at home with their recommendations and even left us some drinks and snacks upon arrival. Definitely recommend this spot and we hope to be back if our daughter chooses to attend college there!
A perfect place for us to stay while we visited our daughter at UCSB. The place is very cozy and comfortable - especially the super comfy couch that was great for movie watching. Communication was great and we really appreciated the snack basket. :) Would definitely stay here again!
Your home away from home in Isla Vista. Cute, cozy, clean and comfortable - my group loved every minute of our stay. The location is an easy walk to the UCSB campus, the beach, and all the businesses in IV. Although IV is always bustling, we felt the location was sufficiently quiet and peaceful. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

Isla Vista, home to the University of Santa Barbara, boasts one of the most beautiful campuses and beaches in the nation. Local students can become boisterous and noisy on weekends during the school calendar. However, we are in a quieter part of the city and are happy to provide you with earplugs, a fan, a noise machine… or wine 😆
🚲 Up for a bike ride? Request one of our loaner bikes in advance and we will have it ready for your stay!
🚗 Street parking can be limited, but you’ll enjoy offstreet parking in your designated guest in the mulch to the right of the driveway.
🤳 No car? Lyft is a quick and easy option to downtown Santa Barbara to explore the local sights and mouthwatering cuisine.
