A beautiful old building. A wonderful mix between the old and the new .

Spectacular location, wonderful hosts, and a cosy space. “The old kitchen” at the Historic Squatters Arms is the perfect spot for a warm, cosy, peaceful getaway. It has a very rustic feel, yet it includes all the amenities that you could ever request. There is a gorgeous fireplace, which is perfect to warm the room. And if that isn’t enough, the electric blankets on the bed make for a comfortable nights sleep. The kitchenette is small, yet completely functional. It is stocked with coffee and tea. There are plenty of pots, plates and utensils to use, if you feel like cooking. However, with Cooma so close you can easily cater for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at any cafe, restaurant or pub in town. My pick for dinner would be Mezcals. My favourite part of the old Kitchen would be the friendly puppies and the delightful goats. I was smiling whenever we arrived or departed. We enjoyed being here so much, we’re definitely going to visit again!

From the get go, Cynthia and J were fantastic hosts. Always responsive to any questions we had, and made us feel right at home. Would love to stay here again sometime, especially to say hello to their beautiful little doggies who were excited to meet us. Nathan and Leonie
