It would be hard to find a more centrally located and perfectly placed home for a vacation stay in Bellagio. Paulo is the very definition of what a you hope every host might be. After meeting us at the location to obtain the keys (early, which is a great help after spending a long day traveling!), she proceeded to share with us a raft of information about the villa, the attractions in the area, the restaurants (including numbers for reservations), and just took the time to ensure that we had everything we needed to be comfortable. Her communications leading up to the trip had been fantastic, and her welcome to her home was just as wonderful. The villa is absolutely as advertised, and we would not hesitate to stay here again, and would certainly recommend the accommodations to others, without hesitation. If you are coming to Bellagio, and you want a private enclave to retreat to, this is the place, Paulo is host you want to have!
We can’t say enough nice things about Paola. She was friendly, responsive, and interested in making sure our stay was the best it possibly could be. Helpful and knowledgeable about the Bellagio community and the entire Lake Como area, she was easily the best host we’ve experienced through Airbnb. She certainly made us want to return again as soon as we’re able to arrange.
We booked this place solely based on the reviews of Paolo and her husband being super helpful in making the stay in Bellagio/Lake Como an amazing experience. Our experience with this place was nothing short of amazing and we would highly recommend. Paola was wonderful! She provided a ton of helpful information to include maps and recommendations during our stay! She greeted us at the apartment and explained everything in person! Given you have to take a water taxi and limited train options, she even made recommendations for our departure to make it easier on our way to Rome. She was an absolute pleasure! Thank you Paola!

We love literature, art and travels. Bellagio, known by many as the Como Lake’s “pearl”, is a unique place, not to be missed for its history, romantic atmosphere, liveliness and dreamlike landscapes. By the ancient walls, in the very heart of the old village and very near to the lakeshore, we have restructured a little apartment with harmonic functionality. This cosy space was meant to be perfectly tuned in to the environment, its surrounding, its lifestyle and history. We therefore enthusiastically open our house to those who will be glad to share the emotions of living in such an ancient and beautiful place and to breathe the most authentic Bellagio’s air. ----------------------------- Amo i viaggi, la letteratura e l’Arte. Considero Bellagio, nota nel mondo come “La Perla” del Lago di Como, un luogo unico e imperdibile, per la sua storia, l’atmosfera romantica, la vivacità del Borgo e i paesaggi da sogno. Ristrutturando tra antiche mura nel cuore del Borgo in riva al lago, ho cercato di allestire, con armonica funzionalità, un ambiente in perfetta sintonia con il luogo, il suo stile di vita e la sua storia.
