Located a few minutes walk from Kendal’s eclectic town centre, this 2 bed cottage is built on the site of the original Mint Cake Factory and offers a “home from home” feel for a relaxing stay. Downstairs is open plan making it a sociable space. Upstairs are one king size bedroom and one twin, both sharing a modern family bathroom. Free parking for one car is available directly outside the property. A ‘home from home’ situated in the gateway to the Lakes. Containing everything you need to enjoy the area from maps you can borrow to a cornucopia of board games for those wet weather days.

A truly beautiful cottage, very tastefully furnished and fully appointed. The welcome pack was a thoughtful touch and everything we needed during our stay was available. The cottage is very centrally located so we were able access shops and restaurants with ease and within walking distance. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

Beautiful little cottage, had everything you needed and close to the town centre. It looked like the pictures and was lovely and clean. Just perfect for us.
Vivienne's house is beautiful. Very clean throughout, well equipped and comfortable. Vivienne is a great communicator and really helpful. House is ideally situated within walking distance of local buses and trains to explore the Lake District

The centre of town is a 5 minute walk away.
Local buses run to all major towns within the Lake District.
Two close by train stations (Kendal & Oxenholme) offer a range of connections both local and national including London and Glasgow.
