We had a lovely weekend at Therese's cottage. Everything was as it was advertised. It was walking distance to the beach. It was comfy and we felt right at home.

We had another excellent stay at Strelitzia Cottage - our fourth holiday spent in this wonderful location. The cottage is a traditional beach home just minutes’ walk from the beautiful lagoon and expansive Kleinemonde beaches. Despite being the height of the Christmas season, the beaches and other facilities were uncrowded and peaceful, allowing for quiet walks and uncluttered swims in the sea and lagoon. The location of the cottage is private, and it is well equipped with all you need for a relaxing holiday. It has always been impeccably clean on arrival and we benefited from the occasional services of the lovely Portia, who is available to assist with cleaning. Our thanks to the locally based co-host, Helen, and owner, Theresa, for their excellent communications and unintrusive hospitality. All in all, a superb getaway!

Kleinemonde is serene. Strelitzia Cottage is quaint, tastefully decorated, well appointed, comfortable and it’s short walk to the beach or the shop. The perfect Eastern Cape beach holiday :) We’ll be back!

Thanks for another amazing holiday 🥰 Even though we had biblical rain, we still ran out of time to do all the things we wanted to do 😬 The house is so well appointed that we had everything we needed, be it braaiing, sand boarding, having friends over for tea and having a picnic on the beach. We were warm enough and loved a puzzle and game of scrabble on the rainy days. Thanks again 😬

We had such a wonderful time at Strelitzia Cottage! It is super close to the ocean which was perfect for a morning swim. The cottage itself is very sweet and spacious with a beautiful outside area that made us feel like we were in Greece. :) Therese was a great host and we would definitely love to come back if our way brings us back to Kleinemonde again.
