Nice place to stay but not for too long

This stay was not at all what we were expecting. But our hosts did try to rectify the situation the best they could. They ended up rehousing us to a different air bnb they also host. Long story short we were two female travel nurses staying in this location for an intended 3 months. We did not last very long at this location. We did not feel that the area this air bnb was located felt secure meaning the surrounding houses and neighborhood. Inside the air bnb, it looks just like the pictures. Failed to be included are entire pictures of the backyard or the fact the backyard fence is only up on one side. The grass is also very patchy and unkept in the backyard. I was worried about my dog stepping on something and hurting his paws. Once you’re inside the air bnb there is a door that you don’t have the ability to lock from your end. Then throughout the night you hear a eerie tapping sound coming through the wall opposite of the bed. It didn’t take much for us to rethink this location for ourselves. Again the hosts did try to rectify the situation. But I think this air bnb has a lot more work needed on it before it is adequate for an extended stay.
