A great lil cabin supr comfy beds great water pressure and hot water loved the deck outback vreek is really close and a short walk to wallow lake as well. met some neigjbors all very friendly. a great place

It was a lovely rustic cabin. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the cooking utensils you would need including a slow cooker! We felt as though we had just walked into great grandma’s house. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub every single evening!

Staying in this cabin is an exceptionally neat experience! We loved it. However, you need to be comfortable with a rustic cabin setting with small areas. I needed to lean over going through some entryways, my feet hung over the bed, there are no doors on the bedrooms, small shower, creaky floors, etc. These are not complaints as we will return as soon as we can. Everything was very clean (including the massive hot tub), and all is well stocked including the kitchen, firewood, blankets, board games, towels, and reference books for hiking in the Eagle Cap and history of the region. At night the stars from the hot tub are remarkable, and during the day there are views limited only by trees. There are cabins nearby but this one is really situated to provide about as much privacy as possible. The fireplace is a great addition and unlike so many airbnb's available for use. A huge bonus is that there is a surface spring right outside one of the bedroom windows and going to bed is like camping beside a creek with the great sound of a babbling brook. In sum, if you want luxury this is not for you. If you want a beautiful setting that is clean with an experience more akin to a camping but with a nice bed, hot water, electricity, hot tub, fireplace, and such, then this is perfect! Do read carefully the parking limitations. I can imagine a dual or four door pickup being a real challenge if not impossible to park in the two limited turn around/parking areas off the single lane gravel road which now goes past this place to another cabin further up the road (which was under construction, but not too loud nor visible, in Sept 2022).
