We had a wonderful and relaxing weekend getaway. The store provided everything we lacked plus more. The homemade ice cream is amazing. We look forward to follow up visits.

Me and 3 of my friends stayed here and it was perfect for our girls trip to see the cliff dwellings and the city of rocks and silver city for the weekend! Clean and perfect amount of space and everything we needed in the kitchen to make ourselves breakfast in the mornings. Lauren was super helpful when we needed information or a trip to her store in the morning. She gave us lots of ideas of things to do around the area. Comfortable beds and nice little porch sitting area that was attached to our room. Would definitely come back if we decided to visit the beautiful area again. Thank you Lauren!

Lauren's place worked well as a home base for adventures in Gila National Forest. It was very quiet the nights we were there, with wildlife all around. Lauren is a proactive host, providing lots of information and making sure we had all that we needed. She is in the process of upgrading the property, and I'm sure it will only continue to get better.

Wanted to see the Gila Cliff Dwellings and hike the area and needed a place that accepted dogs. Lauren's place fit the bill perfectly. 2 queen beds and a 3/4 bath (shower only). Fully stocked kitchen with full size appliances and a drip coffee maker. If you've got people staying in the hotel part, the private closed in patio will be perfect for meals. Lots of off-street parking. We did not use the outdoor pavilion, but it is big with lots of seating, looked very nice. There is a dog area on site and a general store on-site by appointment only. The Gila Cliff Dwellings are about 45 minutes away and it is a beautiful drive. If you are squeamish about heights, well, just be aware. Just before the park there is a general store with a gas pump which we did not inquire about. We instead went to San Lorenzo the day before (opposite direction, another beautiful drive) to the La Tienda Del Sol for treats and gas.
