Lovely house and location - very quiet and perfectly situated for walkers, right on the Essex Way. Chris was very responsive when a freak storm caused a few issues locally. Would definitely return.

Boxted is a village and civil parish in the north east of Essex, England approximately 6 miles north of Colchester. The village comprises pockets of residential areas surrounded by mainly arable farmland. The River Stour flows through the village and delineates the boundary between Essex and Suffolk. Old Boxted falls within Dedham Vale, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
The village boasts a church, a primary school, a social club, village hall, sports pavilion and vineyard. Within the community there is a keen equine interest.
Close to junction 28 on about 10 minutes drive from junction 2 on A12.
Car necessary for wider travel however can access multiple walks and footpaths on foot from the property. Alternatively I can also provide lifts to and from local Bus or Train stations in either Colchester, Manningtree or Ipswich
