For a group of four golfers this was a perfect spot to unwind after a long day on the links. 15 minutes from the new Cabot Citrus Farms, 5 minutes to Publix and Dunkin'...Chateau Mariposa did not disappoint. Clean and well outfitted with everything we could need and more (I say more as we didn't even take advantage of the awesome outdoor space like firepit and grill). We'll be back! Thank you Carmen and Scott!

Beautiful home and location! Even better than the photos. Carmen is an amazing host, very responsive and attentive. You’ll have everything you need and more for your stay. We have stayed at several airbnbs and this has been our favorite, we felt right at home and already thinking of booking again in the future.

Definitely one of my favorite AirBnB’s. Home is gorgeous & spotless. Well equipped with modern technology. Super comfortable master suite. Wonderful outdoor spaces to relax. Plenty of room for family to spread out. Finally, amazing hosts. Absolutely a 5-star stay!!

Chateau Mariposa was everything as described and more. There was plenty of room for our two family trip with 4 kids ages 9 to 2. We appreciated the stocked kitchen, extra beach gear and the coziness of the home to unwind after a long day. There are so many things to do and see within a few minutes to just over an hour away. We enjoyed Clearwater Aquarium and beach, Honeymoon Island and Homosassa State Park/wildlife refuge. The overall aesthetic of the home and property almost force you to relax while you are there. We also loved the private back yard, including the neighboring farm animals to watch. Thanks again to Carmen and Scott. You are doing the host job exceptionally well and we'd be happy to visit again!

As frequent travelers, we've stayed in our fair share of vacation houses, and Chateau Mariposa is exceptional! Another traveler noted that it was one of their best Airbnb experiences ever, and we couldn't agree more. Carmen and Scott poured their hearts and souls into this remodel, and it shows. The layout, finishes, and amenities were second to none. Traveling with my 60+ parents, husband, and 9 and 11 year old children, this home was the highlight of our trip! We cooked meals together in the spacious and well-equipped kitchen, hiked and explored the grounds, circled around the firepits each night, and swong the days away in the hammocks. Many Airbnbs are just fine, but the intentionality and love poured into this lodging experience was heartwarming. We would happily return!
