Great home for a group of 8. Everything you could possibly want to keep kids and adults entertained. Super clean and well appointed. The location is convenient to the south side of Santa Cruz - walking distance to shops, etc, including great coffee. You will need to drive to Boardwalk and other parts of Santa Cruz, but it's not too far. The beach is very close, but not great for kids. Better to got o Twin Lakes - again less than 10 mins away.

Beautiful house and excellent location for our large group of women surfers. Plenty of space and plenty of bathrooms made for a comfortable weekend. My only feedback was the communication with Vacasa. Every time you send a message you get a generic response from a different person that doesn’t always address what you asked. We also left some boots behind and messaged 30 min after checkout asking if we could come back to get them before the next check-in. It was this whole runaround and excessively complicated which was such a hassle and very annoying. Other than that we had a great weekend.

Great stay, would return. Couple of items happened on our stay as to why it’s not a five star review but overall would 100% return. - front door key pad did not work. We had to use the lock box, which is fine. But when you’re with a large party there is always a risk that someone miss places the key. - ants popped up in the house immediately after arriving and putting food in the kitchen. We ran to the store and got ant spray and it was fine. - we struggled to connect / stay connected to the WiFi. You cannot use the TV / play music without buffering in the basement without WiFi which is a bummer. - without getting into details, neighbor’s aren’t fond of being next door to an Airbnb, which I can understand. But, they won’t go down as a reason to return for our group. -airbnb is managed by a corporation so little more of a hassle to connect to someone besides just texting an owner directly. Very nice house, looks just like the pictures! Would ultimately return

This rental was better than advertised. The detail put into this home, all the way down to the dishes, tile floor and bedrooms exceeded expectations. The rooms were large, the house was 3 stories (basement for game room location) and quiet. Few blocks from the ocean and short walk into town. The neighborhood was quiet and we weren’t bothered by anyone! Will definitely be staying here again!
