Such a magical area in the trees! We walked to loch lomond reservoir and went on the trail around it a bit. Easy drive into Felton (The Grove Cafe for Breakfast is a must) and Santa Cruz, even a day trip to Monterey or Carmel by the Sea. We did a lot of exploring. Will be back!

We had such a lovely stay! Tara and Pema were fantastic hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was peaceful, in a quiet location and close to Loch Lomond where we had a great hike. What a beautiful escape.

This cabin is a great mountain getaway especially if you want to be a little more remote from town and near the lake for activities. We wanted a cabin escape while still being a little close to Santa Cruz so we wanted to stay in Felton. This cabin is right next to Loch Lomand in Lompico area so it is a little further into the mountain than expected. Despite this, it was a very beautiful drive and nice and secluded. It was really clean and just like the photos. The service and wifi is spotty so just be prepared for that as well as a lot of stairs to get into the cabin. Even though you are connected onto another property, it feels pretty separated and has it’s own separate fence and side yard area after walking up the stairs. Not all the windows have curtains so be aware of that but for the most part it is hidden between lots of beautiful redwood trees. The lake is less than a mile away and is a beautiful must see! The hosts were really communicative about some of the stuff we asked.
