Iguana Surf House (ISH) is the ideal place to escape from modern stresses and immerse yourself in the famous 'Pura Vida' vibe. We offer a magnificent 300° view of the majestic Pacific and surrounding jungle scenes. From the spacious terrace take in the picturesque Caño Island and breathtaking sunsets. Have fun spotting visiting Toucans, Red Macaws and local monkey troops. A lovely well maintained garden boarders the home. One of the areas best swimming beaches is a mere 500 meters from the home A natural setting is what we are about, inside and out. We have added certain creature comforts including an air-conditioned interior, ceiling fans on the terrace, a newly remodeled kitchen space and heated shower heads. The set up is basic and yet has what you will need. The rooms are set up for groups so think open shared spaces. The terrace is where its at: expansive and never boring as the colors lighting and sights are constantly changing.

Iguana Surf was the perfect location for my party and I. Fantastic views, nearby restaurant and beach. Beside the huge balcony area the kitchen particularly impressed us. Sam is a welcoming and attentive host who would not hesitate to communicate local info, tour info, help with or book taxis or anything else you might need. Top marks, we will miss Drake Bay, Iguana Surf House, Sam and his friendly dog Jagger but they will be our first point of contact should we return to Drake Bay in future. Pura vida ♥️

We had a great stay, all was how described, Samuel is a great and friendly host, letting you enjoy his place in privacy and still helping with recommendations if you need it! We ll definitely be back!
Beautiful views out over the sea, early morning chores is fab too. House was comfy and Samuel is a very thoughtful host that would do anything to help us. Even took us surfing 🏄♂️
We loved this beautiful overlook of the area once we found it. Truly a hidden gem!
