Roberta and Paolo were delightful hosts! We so appreciated their warm welcome to Florence, and greatly enjoyed our 10+ day stay at their serene villa with our baby and my parents. There was ample space for all of us to gather comfortably without being crunched on top of each other. The porch was one of our favorite hangout spots, and we loved walking into the center (~30 min walk to Piazzale Michelangelo from the villa). The road is narrow but our mid-size SUV rental car did just fine! We would happily return for another extended stay!

Great place in a great setting . Close enough to Florence but still in the country side . Rent a car though (taxi service in Florence is terrible)

Roberta and Paolo are wonderful people who truly care about your experience while visiting their lovely home in Florence! The house is impeccably maintained, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. Seriously, they go above and beyond with being attentive and caring. They make you feel like part of their family. If your looking for a private retreat, with an authentic Italian country-side feel, and you want to stay just outside of downtown Florence, you cannot go wrong with their home. I would highly recommend staying with them during your next trip to Florence!!

Our stay at Roberta and Paolo’s villa was more than we could have hoped for! The home and grounds were stunning - prettier that the photos. The villa is a gorgeous, spacious, quite comfortable family gem with beautiful antiques & artwork. The grounds are magical: the pool is huge and the view of the Tuscan hills are stunning. A serene hamlet outside the busy city. We walked into the city daily and loved coming back to the peaceful villa at the end of the day. Roberta and Paolo are absolutely wonderful hosts! They greeted us upon arrival with a tour of the property and wine, water, cheese, bread, fruit, olive oil made from the property’s olive trees, cookies and a fresh basil plant-everything we could have wanted after a long journey. They were very attentive and helpful, recommending fabulous winery tours, restaurants and other activities and booked many taxis for us and visiting family. We highly recommend this enchanting villa and it’s very special owners!!!
