We stayed here as we were celebrating our friends wedding a couple of miles away from the barn. James was an incredible host, nothing was too much bother for him! He even managed to find us a needle & thread for an outfit mishap the night before the wedding! Mimi the dog is incredibly cute! Overall I would definitely recommend staying here for a home from home feel!

What a beautiful place. The Cowshed was immaculate and the perfect place for a short stay. I booked it for relatives who were attending a family birthday and they were delighted with the accommodation. The two bathrooms made it so easy and the kitchen was well equipped. James provided very comprehensive driving instructions and directions to find the premises which are tucked away down a quiet lane. James was on hand and introduced himself but was not intrusive. The family were reassured that he was there if there were any issues, but the stay was a dream and they had a wonderful time. The lounge would probably be a little small if there had been 4 adults but was fine for 3.

James was an excellent host, he was welcoming & extremely helpful and has a good knowledge of the local area. The accommodation is well equipped and very comfortable and is in a great location.

Really; WoW! We arrived and were welcomed by our generous & informative host James. The property is beautiful, with all your modern ammenties and great Internet. Walking distance to the local village pubs plus great food. What we love the most from our stay is how central we were having Yate (Town) for all your shopping needs, to being on the door step to Cotswolds and our favourite Bath (the Town). If you bring your pets, you will not be disappointed really ample space for them. So far, one of our favourite stays, and we will definitely be back.
