Super easy check-in, it’s a little way out and further from restaurants and such. So, I’d suggest a golf kart as it’s a bit of a walk. We were a two different groups and arrived by boat so arrived early. We asked if we could leave bags as we knew it was not check in time yet and were allowed to only to later get complaints for this. Later we were called for having the music up to loud on the boat at 5:00 in the afternoon I apologized and turned asked the other party to turn music down which they did right away. Even after apologizing and there being NO MUSIC PLAYING AT ALL. The calls continued and I was spoken rudely and over. Even though I was not the person responsible nor my group but the other party that was traveling with us. But another booking al together. Then there was no trash bin in one bathroom and I told one of the persons that called. I was practically accused of stealing as well as breaking an ornament which I am 100% sure we did not break. They made us feel as if we were disrespecting, thieves, when we are always respectful in airbnbs.

We enjoyed our stay in the townhouse. We loved the first floor bedroom with French doors leading to a nice patio as well as the Tj’s floor patio off the living room. There was a nice size table where we ate breakfast and watched the boats go by. The top floor patio we could see 360 for miles. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms were spacious. The shower was amazing. Edwin the grounds keeper was at the pontoon within minutes of our request to cross the canal. It was a pleasure being ferried from one side or the other by him and his lovely wife. The pool was wonderful with a sloped entry and siting ledges in the sides. My husband enjoyed fishing from the doc where we saw a spotted ray swim by. Great views!

It’s a very nice townhome. It was a bit inconvenient to have to take the pontoon boat when we wanted to go places. The bedrooms are on the main level while all the living area (kitchen, dining and living room) are on the upper level, so if you were in the bedroom not on canal side, you’d have to go upstairs to go into unit and then downstairs to the bedroom, or through the front bedroom, that was a bit inconvenient for us as well. The location south of Placencia was very quiet and peaceful. All the taxis know where it’s at and some of the tours (via boat) will pick you up at the dock. There is no beach. We stayed 2 weeks, we loved the pool. While we enjoyed our stay, I’d prefer to be on the beach side in town as walking got old quickly, we rented a golf cart (which was hard to come by) for the 2nd week however, that seemed like a waste as staying in town, you wouldn’t need one. Hosts were great, Edwin (pontoon boat driver and grounds keeper) and his family were awesome!

OMG!!! I can’t even begin to express how great our stay was! Beautiful home with great people. I recommend this location to anyone who is looking for a beautiful home with a responsive and helpful team.
