Lu’s Lookout was the absolute PERFECT beach home. The pictures don’t even do it justice, the beauty of this island is other worldly. The home has panoramic views of the crystal blue water & white sandy beaches. We spent most of our trip enjoying The screened in back deck, lounging on the hammock, & eating meals at the outdoor dining set. The ocean breeze is rejuvenating for the soul & it can be enjoyed from the comfort of the house! The beach is absolutely beautiful. We found so many shark teeth and beautiful sea shells. We traveled with our 9 month old & golden doodle, Amanda was extremely responsive, friendly, and helpful with recommendations & anything we needed! You can tell she gives the home and her guests personal care to ensure your stay is absolutely perfect! We are already planning our next trip back we never wanted to leave!! If I could give 10 stars I would!! Highly highly recommend!!

This place is beyond perfection. I'd give it a million stars if I could. We had to return after we went for the first time five months ago. I aspire to become a permanent guest.🤩the house, the views, the beach, the owners, the fact they allow dogs. Perfection.

Lu’s lookout will be instilled in our families core memory. The peacefulness and tranquility of the location is by far the best we’ve ever stayed. We look forward to add this to our future family vacation.

Our family of 5, including 2 teenage boys and pup, spent 7 perfect days immersed in the sanctuary of Lu’s Lookout and LGI. We had no idea such a place could still be found in FL: miles of pristine beach, sweeping views of aqua colored ocean and very few other people lingering in the sand. The home design honors that natural beauty with glass doors across the back, which open onto a huge screened in porch. So even when you are hanging out at the house, you still feel like you’re on the beach taking it all in…it also means rain (if it happens) doesn’t spoil your day! Lu’s is a gorgeous home furnished with comfy furniture, adorned with lovely art/artifacts, and is the most well stocked Airbnb place I’ve stayed. All of this is due to the heart(s) behind the home, Amanda and Jon. Amanda is extraordinary! Ahead of arrival, she prompts you to make all the required reservations, she’s knowledgeable about the island, and beyond being responsive, she’s warm and welcoming—akin to a friend🫶

As a 6th year Superhost I have very high expectations when I travel. Lu's Lookout did not disappoint! I really can't say enough nice things about both the house and the host. Beautiful dog friendly home on a beautiful dog friendly beach. The house is spacious and gracious with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the spectacular views and a whole stretch of secluded lovely beach just steps away. Our main tasks were to walk on the beach and read books and take al fresco naps in the hammock. Amanda is a superior host with tons of helpful information and advice. Staying on an island with no mainland access requires some extra planning ahead and she covers everything so it all goes off without a hitch. Great support staff, abundantly stocked kitchen essentials, all the necessary beach stuff...we felt very well taken care of...and very grateful she and Jon shared their fantastic island home with us. We were already planning our trip back next year before we left!
